
Here again, you have a choice to make. You can either develop a rate chart whereby you charge a set dollar amount for each page or project you prepare, or you can charge an hourly rate. The latter could be a bit challenging to get your clients to agree to, but if you can give them some estimate of how long it takes to transcribe - for example, one page of voice file takes 15 minutes or whatever that may be for you - it will help put their mind at ease and give them some kind of idea how much they will be spending.
My transcription is done in the Midwest and I charge $20 per hour. I also have researched per project rates and the standard competitive rates are as follows:

If you choose to do medical transcription or legal transcription you will be able to charge more for your expertise in your field. You will need to research what others in your field are charging and adjust according to your experience.
